UNICEF works to build a better world for every child, every day. A world where every child has the chance to fulfil their potential and grow up healthy and safe. We work in 190 countries and territories around the world, reaching more children than any other humanitarian organisation.

Story

I've quit my job and am riding a Vespa scooter and sidecar from London to Rio to follow England in the World Cup in aid of UNICEF.  I love football, motorbiking, going on holiday and supporting a good cause.  Playing, watching or talking football, biking and holidays, essentially it all brings people together. I wanted to take it a step further with my Vespa, football and replica WorldCup.
The goal is to ride in as many countries as possible who have qualified for the World Cup.  Bearing in mind England’s poor penalty record I decided to have a penalty shootout with locals and use my scooter as a goalpost.  You can see via a link on the website www.scootersforgoalposts.com or more frequently updated photos on the public Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Scooters-For-Goalposts/519487541504791?ref=stream

So take a look at the photos on the website and Facebook page and if they make you smile then show your appreciation by making a donation to UNICEF.  who ensure that globally children have access to the essentials of water, medicine, health and food.
