I volunteered for Self Help Africa in 2007 and subsequently ended up running a 10K run for them in London the same year. I enjoyed the experience of the race and raisng money for the charity. So when I saw Shrewsbury was hosting there first ever Marathon/Half Marathon I decided to run for them again!!!
