<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.After countless years of Marathon chitchat, I have finally decided to commit to the challenge, London Marathon 2012 here I come - Yikes! I am delighted my chosen charity, Wellbeing of Women(WoW), has given me this opportunity. WoW is a fantastic charity dedicated to improving the health of women and babies, to make a difference to everybody's lives today and tomorrow.(The charity funds research into all aspects of women and babies health and provides an enormous amount of support and information for all.) Dark,cold mornings are surprisingly uplifting and the Thames towpath(my favoured training patch) has a great backdrop of early morning London waking up.I decided to really commit to the challenge (some might say obsess) and have given myself 7 months to condition mind and body to the task...some days I feel I need 17 months! So far so good, albeit minor aches and pains which I'm regularly told are all part of the process -hmm! I am hoping to complete the marathon first and foremost, and ideally with a target time of 3hrs 45mins. Do come and cheer me on if you are around. This is a really exciting challenge for me personally and I would be extremely grateful of any donations, thank you.</p>
