<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: windowtext;">On 2nd June this year, I shall be attempting to complete La Sufrida, The &ldquo;Suffering&rdquo;.&nbsp; This is a challenging 120 miles of mountainous road cycling around the ancient town of Ronda in southern Spain. It involves 4000 metres of climbing and has to be completed in less than 10 hours. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: windowtext;">I am doing it in memory of my mother who died last year.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;">She had lived in and loved Africa for many years and having seen the effects of poverty and malnutrition was a keen supporter of the charity, Pump Aid.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;">&nbsp;</p> <h4 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; color: windowtext;">Pump Aid install wells and supply simple pumps to provide safe, uncontaminated water in rural villages.</span></h4> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; color: windowtext;">I invite you to help make a difference to these communities by sponsoring me to complete la Sufrida.
