Since deciding to trek up Mt Kilimanjaro a much loved friend of ours was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Jane and her family are like family to us, especially Megs with her family at such a distance. They have been an integral part in us settling in the UK. To say they have always been there for us doesn't do it justice. They show a love and generosity of heart we rarely encounter in this world. Only weeks prior to Jane's diagnosis, the family were serving in Uganda on a mission trip. We have come to love and admire this special family and the selfless way they conduct their life.

Sadly, on the10th December, Jane passed away and we will miss her terribly.

All too often cancer is responsible for taking those we love and often, long before they have had a chance to live their lives.

Most people have been touched by this awful illness in some capacity. We need to do all we can to find answers to this disease as soon as possible.
