Story
In September this year I will be cycling 285 miles (460km) from London to Paris to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
The
Royal British Legion provide practical, emotional and financial support
to the Armed Forces community of both Serving and ex-Service men and
women, their families and dependents. Whether helping families coping
with the loss of a loved one, providing welfare services for veterans,
careers advice for service leavers, or residential care for those that
need it; they are there to help.
This year is the 100th anniversary of the beginning of World War 1 and the route that the ride takes will undoubtedly be a well-attended, making this a poignant ride.
I am cycling as part of a larger ‘ManpowerGroup’ team, but am hoping to personally raise over £1300 for the cause.
