So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
It's still not too late to donate but WE'VE DONE IT!! We completed the Silver Challenge in almost 16 hours - starting off at 7am and eventually reaching the Silver finish line at almost 11pm.
BIG thank you to Allys sister Donna and Nicci's mum Gail for being our back up crew - it was a loooong day but they were there at the checkpoints to pick up our bikes and with our spare gear and words of encouragement!
BIG thank you also to everyone who has sponsored us, Ally raised the most money with her family (including the car boot sale and cake recipe books) - and we will be drawing the lodge break very soon, once we have got all the names together etc!
We decided to stick to the Silver Challenge this year but confidently agreed that we would do the Gold next year - so we will be looking to raise even more money for Maggies through this year and into next - any ideas or fundraisers anyone can do would be much appreciated!
