In just 3 days, between 31st March and 2nd April 2011, myself and 6 others are running from Leeds to Liverpool along the route of the longest canal in the UK - the Leeds and Liverpool canal.
Starting at Leeds and running through Bingley, Skipton, Nelson, Burnley, Blackburn, Wigan, Burscough and ending at the Albert Dock, in Liverpool, it is 127 miles in length.
The load is being shared and my contribution is two 10 mile sections on consecutive days. Having never even run a 10k race before, this is quite a personal challenge, but as the saying goes - its all in a good cause.
We're raising money for the Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology and any contribution that you are able to make, regardless of how small, would be very much appreciated.
