Back in September 2012 I set myself a massive challenge ..... I signed up for the KB175 celebratory Bike Ride. But this wasn't going to be your average 3 mile ride to the pub to enjoy a pint with friends. Oh no. This was to be part of a team with three other riders, covering 175 miles between us, calling at all eight Kent Blaxill branches across East Anglia for at best, a pint of water!

My original goal was to cover the BSE to Norwich leg (approx. 45 miles), which back then seemed an impossible target. However, some 10 months later, 4 stone lighter and having invested in a proper road bike, padded shorts (!) and a good few jars of Vaseline (Hmmm!) my goal for the day is to ride 100 miles for the team. Yes .. 100 miles !!!

We all experience difficult times during our lives but the young people (and their families) that are supported by Clic Sargent must endure the toughest times of all. I have drawn my inspiration to get fit and take on this challenge from these young people. I now hope that I can inspire you to support me in raising vital funds for such a worthwhile charity.
