Charitable donations make a real difference to our work, benefiting patients and staff alike. Raising extra funds helps to enhance services, facilities and research, from buying incubators for our special care baby unit to refurbishing the relative’s overnight rooms. We have sub funds for all departments so you can give to our general fund or a specific department or ward.

My story

This autumn I am running the Great North Run (20th September) and Munich Marathon (11th October). I am raising money for ward 7 at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

The ward provides care for cancer patients and all funds raised will help to buy equipment and facilities for patients on the ward. I have seen the excellent work done by the staff on ward 7 at first hand, as they provided great care for my mum when she was receiving treatment there.

UPDATE- I have completed the Great North Run in a time of 1hr 31m 30s. I thought it was a decent time, but somehow someone wearing a banana costume managed to beat me! Many thanks to everyone who has donated so far.
