Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Chris and Rob Needham together with Keith Hallam are going to tackle a "Coast to Coast" cycle ride over the 13th, 14th &15th May to raise money for Cancer Campaign (http://www.cancercampaigninsuffolk.co.uk/) a charity that exists solely on donations, where every penny raised is spent providing support and assistance for cancer patients, their carers and families. They'll clock up approx 150miles along the way with from Whitehaven to Sunderland including some seriously large hills in the Lake District!

Chris & Rob's father was treated in Ipswich Hospital for prostate cancer, and Debra's dad is also currently recovering from the same illness - so raising some money in this way is the contribution we're making so please help us achieve our donation target of £1,500.  Chris & Rob's Dad has even committed to ride the last 10 miles of the ride if we reach our donation target!

Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in UK men. More than 70 men are diagnosed with the disease every day. However, three-quarters of men diagnosed with prostate cancer now survive the disease beyond five years. In the 1970s it was only a third!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now - thanks, Chris, Rob & Keith
