From 8th to 16th September I will be attempting to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats, alongside 600 other riders as part of the Deloitte Ride Across Britain (960 miles in 9 days). Some of you may remember I attempted this challenge in 2010. Then, I made it to the finish and covered more than the "End to End" distance. Unfortunately, though, I had to miss stage 4 due to a sickness bug. I've decided to have another go this year and try and complete the full route. Several people have asked why not just do the missed stage; I'll confess there's also a bit of perverse attraction to the idea of being the first Deloitte partner to make it there and back!
