RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On June the 20th, I  and my oldest friend Paul  will be rowing the Thames to celebrate our combined  centenary.

I'll  be rowing from Lechlade in Gloucestershire to Richmond in Surrey ,covering about 130 miles in 8 days,( most of it downhill) to fulfill a  lifelong ambition and to raise money for the RNLI.

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. They  provide a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the coasts of the UK and RoI, as well as a seasonal lifeguard service on many of the busiest beaches in England and Wales. The RNLI is an independent charity, funded by voluntary donations. They  could not save lives at sea without the public’s support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you
