Ben was the brother of a close friend of ours here in France. He died of pneumonia just two days after his 37th birthday leaving a young family; wife Emma and sons Jacob and Sam.

A team of Ben's family and friends will cycle coast to coast across the French Pyrenees on 22nd-27th June 2014 to raise money in Ben's name for Winston's Wish, a charity that supports bereaved children.

The challenge covers a distance of 650kms over six days with an ascent of more than 10km, climbing 12 cols including the famous Tour de France giants Col du Tourmalet, Col d'Aspin and Col d'Aubisque.
