Facial Palsy UK supports people affected by facial palsy through information, support, promoting best practice, and advancing research. Our vision is a society where facial palsy is recognised and everyone affected can access the treatment, information, and support they need.

Story

I hope you can inspire me to complete the 100 mile gruelling course, based on last year's Olympic road race, as quickly as possible. Have a look at this clip which shows the course (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53OznVHIXxc).

I am proud to support leukaemia & lymphoma research (www.beatingbloodcancers.org.uk) which does an amazing job to raise awareness, and fights to make unnecessary deaths from blood cancers a thing of the past. Sadly, a close family friend died from myeloma earlier this year and I will be thinking of him.

In addition, as most of you know, I am passionate about providing a better service for people with facial palsy. I have decided to share my donations with a recently formed charity with which I have been involved (http://www.facialpalsy.org.uk). There is a huge amount of useful information on the website, and those involved with the charity  are working tirelessly to improve the lives of people with this  condition which has such a dramatic effect upon them.

Please be generous to help these very worthy causes.
