I will be braving extreme saddle pain and French motorists to take part in our team's charity cycle ride between our London and Paris offices this September and raise money for our fantastic volunteering project with Independent Age. I have been lucky enough to have lived in both London and Paris for several years but this will certainly be the most challenging trip I have made between the two cities. 220 miles on a bike is going to be somewhat tougher than the usual wine induced nap on the Eurostar!

We are aiming to complete the ride in three days to raise money for a volunteering project we are working on with the charity Independent Age. An estimated 5.3 million over 65 year olds in the UK have never been online and 3.8 million live alone. As an internet company, we want to make a difference to the lives of people in this part of the community by supporting the charity, buying computers and using our knowledge to train their members on using the internet and staying connected in an increasingly digital age.
