Thanks for taking the time to visit the Grafton 24 hour football marathon JustGiving page.

In March 2009, Stefan Rogge, a former pupil of Grafton House (Stowe School) fell from his horse playing polo, and suffered a serious head injury.  As a result, he slipped into a coma, from which it took him three months to wake.  However, having woken up, he has confounded the doctors with his determination to progress, and he has improved to the extent that he should be able to return home in the next few months.

Inspired by Stefan's perseverance, the boys of Grafton House will be participating in a 24 hour football marathon on the weekend of 20th/21st March 2010, to raise money for the Rogges' nominated charity: Headway (a brain injury support charity).   The marathon will include matches against parents, a girls' team from Stowe, fixtures all through the night, and finish with a four team tournament competing for the Rogge Cup.

Any support that you feel able to give to this worthy cause would be greatly appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
