My story
Many thanks for taking the time to visit my Lepra sponsorship page.
I will be riding a bicycle for Lepra in two upcoming events. The first is towards the end of January 2013 where we will be cycling in India over a two week period to raise money for Lepra the medical development charity. I do hope that you will be able to contribute in some way to sponsoring me on this tough but worthwhile India Bike Ride 2013.
The second is being held in March 2012, and is the Cape Argus Cycle Tour, over a gruelling 110 km course around the Cape Peninsula, Cape Town, South Africa...the largest timed cycle race in the world.
Lepra is a wonderful organisation that I have been supporting for the past 15 years. They are working in some of the most deprived countries around the world providing relief from diseases of poverty including leprosy, HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria and Lymphatic Filariasis.
But, like all successful charities, they need more funds to carry on this important work. Your support will help to restore health, hope and dignity to many people living in the developed world.
