Hi folks, I am Chris Wild an ex - submariner (23 years).  Then on retirement from the Royal Navy a self employed kitchen fitter for a further 21 years.  I am retired and up for a challenge so..........

Myself and two friends John and Ronnie are going to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats starting on the 26th July 2011. Each of us riding for our own chosen charity. We will be cycling for 17 days covering approx 1020 miles, staying in Youth Hostels each night.  We are doing this as a personal challenge, at our own expense.  My son and several good friends have every reason to appreciate the good works done by Cancer Research UK and hence this is my chosen charity.
