The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Palace-2-Palace 2017 page.

With your help, I managed to raise almost £400 for The Prince's Trust last year. I thought, this year, I'm going to work even harder and do the 45 miles on my Brompton folding cycle instead of a street bike. So I'm hoping that you appreciate this and I can raise at least £500 this year!

So now to the most important thing - the cause. I have been very lucky to have parents who supported me in my education. They have been (and still are) role models, they have spent years patiently doing my homework with me and paid school fees. Because of this fantastic support, getting into a good job was easy.

Unfortunately, so many young people are struggling to get into jobs, which is catastrophic in two ways: firstly, because they have no way of getting satisfaction out of the work they're doing and secondly, from a societal perspective, because we're wasting great talent!

So please support me in supporting those that need our help to get into a job.
