Story

Hello lovely (generous) people! On June 6th 2012, I will be cycling from London to Paris for Amnesty International. In 4 days I will cycle 300 miles (most of which will be on the wrong side of the road) to the Eiffel Tower. I've never done anything like this before and I haven't owned a bike since I was a kid, so my first step will be to buy one. How hard can it be? It's just like riding a bike!

Although it will be hard work and lots of training, it will also be an amazing experience, so I will obviously put a lot of my own money in to it. But I really need your help (cash) to reach the total needed to take part. It's a really great cause and you'll be helping me get 'well fit'! Follow my progress here.

Amnesty International

Yes, that's right, the main point of this trip is to raise money for Amesty International. They do amazing work protecting human rights around the world. They campaign to help people when their basic rights, which we take for granted, are denied.
Fundraising Info

Part of the fundraising money goes towards the organisation of the event. Whilst I will be paying for some of it, some of the money will be going to organising the trip. Hopefully that won't put you off because your money is still going to do a lot of good!

JustGiving Info

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
