5.4 million children across the world are currently trapped in orphanages – even though 80% of them have family they could live with if they had the right support. Orphanages harm children, depriving them of love and exposing them to abuse. Your support helps us get children to back to family.

Story

I've had a beard since I left school (35 years ago). A friend suggested I could look 10 years younger by shaving it off (sounds good to me). I'm happy to do so in support of one of the most worthwhile charities I know - Hope and Homes for Children.

I plan to raise at least £5,000 which is sufficient to assess and re-home (in their own country) 10 children currently in Eastern European institutions. Imagine your child being locked away with nothing to look forward to and then imagine that child with a family and a future.

When I've raised the money I might even have a haircut as well.

Love and Peace
Chris

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hope and Homes for Children will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
