As most of you will be aware, I am a long term supporter of Anthony Nolan having lost my mother to Leukaemia at 16.

Myself and team from the Telegraph are running the London 2012 Marathon on their behalf.

Anothy Nolan saves lives of people with blood cancer, who need a blood stem cell or bone marroa transplant.  They help people every day in of a lifesaving transplant by using their register to find remarkable donors who have matching tissue types and are will to donate their blood stem cells.
