I will be attempting 2 treks in 2011 for Velindre Cancer Centre.

On the 20th January 2011 I will attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro is 19, 340ft high and is the highest peak in Africa. I will be walking for approximately 6-7 hours a day and at some points in temparatures as low as -25 degrees.

On the 5th May 2011 I will be heading to Peru to walk the Inca Trail to the "lost city" of Machu Pichu. Again I will be walking at altitude for an average of 6-7 hours a day with temperatures dropping well below zero at some points.
