Story

In November of this year, I started working for an amazing organisation called Macmillan Cancer Support. And, apparently, it caused me to absolutely lose my mind. My tubby self has signed up for a half marathon in April, which is going to be (in part) training for a London to Paris cycle in July. I'll be running the Edinburgh Rock n Roll Half Marathon on 15 April. There will be live music every mile to hopefully keep my spirits up. That's the plan anyway.

Basically, I think this charity is amazing and I'm so proud to say I'm a part of it. I wish I had known about the extent of their services when my mom was diagnosed a few years ago. I want to raise every penny I can to keep the great services going and to help advertise them to people who might not know about them. So I'm going to do what seems like an impossible task and train to run a half marathon.

I hate running. Despise it. And I have a low threshold for pain. Please dig deep, because the next few months are probably going to be pretty miserable.
