Firstly, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and donate. 

This year I am going to be running the Great North Run to raise money for Cancer Research UK as part of "Team Sage". When I say "run" I obviously use this term loosely - waddling is more appropriate.

With over 200 runners in "Team Sage" we are aiming to raise over £68,000 in total to help Cancer Research with their fantastic work - alongside this there is the added bonus of hopefully getting fit and being able to do more events in the future.

On a personal level family and friends have suffered at the hands of this devastating disease and any money I can raise to help go towards either researching, or curing any form of cancer is massively important to me.

Any donation is amazing be it 1p or a £1, every single penny counts!
