I'm attempting to ride from John O'Groats to Lands End, hopefully in 8 days or less, between 30th April and 9th May 2010, a tough challenge for c 1000 miles. I'll be unsupported, arranging food drink and accomodation as I go.

My chosen charity is the Leicester Hospitals Charity. The Glenfield Hospital (Cardiac Unit) did so so much to help Bonita's Uncle, the late, great Frank Mattock over the last 8 years until he died in September at just 59. I'm sure if Frank had been with me for the ride it would have taken longer (too many hostelries to visit) as well as being far more entertaining!
