On June 15th 2019 I will be endeavouring to run the Yorkshire 3 Peaks covering 25 miles and the 3 highest peaks in Yorkshire.  I will be once again joining the Nigel Wright team as we strive to continue to support our chosen charity.

Most of us will either face cancer ourselves or see a close loved one be hit with some form of cancer.  I have lost multiple relatives and friends to cancer over the years and have also seen the amazing advances in medical techniques to fight cancer enable people close to me to overcome cancer.

Since I completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks last year for the first time, I have seen another close family member be affected by cancer requiring major surgery.  Due to the treatment available they were able to have the cancer removed and require no further treatment at this stage.  The money raised by cancer charities such as Cancer Research UK is invaluable in the ongoing battle against cancer and as a result I have trained for 9 months to attempt to run the course again this year and hope to raise in excess of £600 for the cause.   I am proud to be part of the Nigel Wright team raising money for Cancer Research and over the last 5 years our company have been one of the highest fund raising companies in the North East for Cancer Research UK.
