Story
As a fan, boxing is one of my favourite sports but I've never experienced the challenge of testing myself physically and mentally against an opponent in the boxing ring. I then saw an opportunity through DWCB to not only step up to the challenge but to also raise money for a great charity.
My Dad, George, passed away nearly 14 years ago due to cancer and, whilst it all happened very quickly, he received amazing care from the Macmillan nurses and they do not necessarily get the credit they deserve for what they do for their patients.
Fundraising is hugely important to Macmillan. Without people doing events, running marathons, climbing mountains, and donating in all the other ways that you can, Macmillan wouldn’t exist.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
Any donation you can make, big or small, will be very much appreciated.
