I'm taking on the challenge of cycling from the southernmost point of South America to the Caribbean in Colombia. I will be undertaking this trip with 3 other doctors, each of us raising money for separate charities that we hold dear to us. 

Since first starting to plan this trip, I knew from the off that I would be raising money for The Eve Appeal. In my first year of Medical School I became close friends with a fellow medical student, and shortly after getting to know her, learnt the news that she had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She sadly died of her illness before completing the course and never had the opportunity to work as a doctor; something she would have excelled at.
