Chris's Bike Ride from SS Great Britain to Cutty Sark for NEWPORT YMCA

London to Paris for YMCA Wales · 6 June 2014
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The YMCA is the largest and oldest youth charity in the world. We believe that all young people deserve to have a safe place to live and the opportunity to reach their full potential. The YMCA's vision is to transform communities so that all young people truly belong, contribute and thrive.
The £2000 I hope to raise will be spent here in Newport and the surrounding areas, as we continue to reach every corner of the community. Our home in Pillgwenlly is commonly regarded as the most culturally diverse area in Wales, if not the UK.
On 6th June 2014, I will be cycling from the SS Great Britain ship in Bristol to the Cutty Sark in Central London to raise money for Newport YMCA. This will take 2 days and cover 150 miles. Weighing in at just under 20 stone before my training began, the event has raised a lot of interest with friends and associates and I would really appreciate it if you too could contribute to a great cause.
