Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ok guys, well i am doing a 100 miles in 48 hrs cycle ride in Cuba at the end of this month ( 28th Jan 2011) , the primary object is to raise funds for 2 very worthy charities - Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy and Childline for NSPCC, Ok not Edmund Hilary or Ranulph Fiennes Stuff but i WILL be getting a sore ass!! and as i am not known for my cycling it will be a challenge for me, there will be about 35 if us doing it and this one is my first although it was done last year in Egypt and some £240,000 was raised!! I think the causes are extremely worthy so it will be so appreciated and also of course incredibly beneficial to both charities whatever you feel you can donate and help me raise funds for them. Thanks so very much for any support you can give and i look forward to sharing pics at the end.....err not of my sore ass although i expect i shall be mentioning it!! Be assured also that i am paying all the costs for this trip personally and donating so all that you donate goes direct to the charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Lotsa Love!! Chris xx
