Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

For a few years I've gone down to London to support the RideLondon event, watching the hoards of cyclists whizz by raising money for charities.  Last year I came to the conclusion that it's about time I gave this go, and so here I am - raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Prostate Cancer UK is my chosen charity, partly because some of my family members and friends have had some form of concern with it recently - but also because they are one of the the less heard-of cancer charities and so I wanted to do my bit to ensure that they get the funding they deserve.  Recent research suggests that deaths from prostate cancer are set to soar over the next decade, so your donation in exchange for my efforts will make a huge difference in raising awareness, giving support and contributing to research into treatments for thousands of men in the UK and beyond.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs.

I'm also documenting my training through my blog at www.thehays.net if you care to take a look!
