Story
We are a group of colleagues from UBS, taking part in a departmental challenge which aims to raise money for the Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT). The SCT is a small organisation doing great work in our local community, offering high-quality support, rehabilitation and training services to people facing problems of homelessness, alcohol and drug addiction and social isolation. They run various services which range from a daily drop-in centre, a rehabilitation hostel to five charity shops.
Our team will be working with the manager of the SCT Charity Shop in Chrisp Street (hence the name), and at a stall in Spitalfield's Market on Tuesday 8th December to raise money. In an effort to raise as much as possible even before our challenge day we kindly ask you to donate as much money as you can.
We will also be partaking in various embarassing tasks over the next few week so please support us!!
£1 provides one person with lunch and a hot drink at our homeless drop-in. £10 would provide one person with books to help them to read and write. £20 would provide 8 clients with a support group for people recovering from life controlling problems, such as homelessness, addiction issues and long term unemployment
