Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For people who don't know, dementia uk is a charity very close to my family. Grandad was diagnosed with dementia last year, so I took the opportunity to raise some money for a great charity that do amazing work not just for their patients but help friends and family.

The London marathon was always a personal goal for me that I wanted to achieve in my life time. When I heard the news my mind was set on running for this charity. Not only will the sponsorship money help, but it will give me great support for a very difficult challenge. The news of my grandad hit my family like a tonne of bricks and although I am struggling to come to terms with it all, this opportunity I have been given by this charity has helped me know end. I have managed to focus my mind through the training and find the positives.
