<p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="background: white; color: #1c1c1c; font-family: Arial;">Christopher Maltby was born with spastic diplegia cerebral palsy which means that the part of his brain that sends the messages to his legs to tell them how to work is damaged. This means that his leg muscles are always contracted causing spasticity which is really uncomfortable and quite painful at times. He is unable to walk properly or dress himself and he falls over a lot because he can't balance. Harrogate Artist Mike Haken is holding a prize draw to raise at least £500 out of a total £58,000 to take Chrissy to America to see a specialist who can perform an operation to cure the spasticity and give him the chance of a normal life.</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> Entry to the draw is free – all Mike asks is that you donate at least £1 for every ticket requested, or £5 for every 6 requested.<span style="background: white; color: #1c1c1c;"></span></span></span></p>
