Thames Path Challenge 2017 · 9 September 2017 to 10 September 2017 ·

There are 4.2 million people in the UK with Type 2 diabetes and 7 million living with heart disease. Tesco, Diabetes UK and the British Heart Foundation are on a mission to help reduce the number of people at risk by helping millions of people eat better, get active and make healthier choices.

Story

Hello everyone,

I am doing the Thames 100km walk in September in order to raise money for 2 great charities (Diabetes and British Heart Foundation)

I have set myself this personal challenge and have every intention through pain and challenges thrown at me during the two days to complete the event regardless how long it will take me. This is partly a physical challenge but also wanted to do something this year in memory of my father who passed away sadly one year ago after a long battle with cancer.

I hope that you are able to sponsor / donate for the cause I am doing it and will keep you updated on my progress. I hope to raise over £400 and more if I can.

I am doing the event with work colleagues from Tesco in Brooklands (Weybridge).

So thank you again for reading my story and hope you can donate a little towards my given charity.

Thank you

Christian
