As some of you may already know, in less than 3 weeks’ time
we will be running the Two Castles Run, a race of epic proportions with a great charity in mind! Along with many other Warwick Staff we will be
running for the Cancer Research fund at the University of Warwick.

Sadly, 1 in 3 people will develop cancer during their lifetime -
this vital research is looking at ways to improve detection of early stage
cancers, treatment and patient care.

As a team we are aiming to raise £500 this year - so
anything you can give towards this target will help. The University of
Warwick covers all administration costs of the fund, meaning that 100%
of your donation goes directly into funding research.

Research at Warwick focuses on:

- Improving detection - high quality
screenings and less invasive tests

- Treatment - the development of new drugs to help the
body attack and shut down cancerous cells

- Patient care - helping with issues like tiredness, sickness,
weight and hair loss
