Story

Hello Charitable People,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been persuaded by a friend of mine to join her and a few others into climbing Mount Kilimanjaro starting on the 23rd of January 2010!

The prospect of such an adventure fills me with both excitement and apprehension. However I am sure that the many hard hours of training will be rewarded by a great sense of personal achievement when reaching the summit (I hope!). This will be made all the more worthwhile knowing that it gives me the opportunity to raise money for such a deserving charity as the Princess Alice Hospice.

Why the Princess Alice Hospice?

I have been a one of their many volunteers for the last 6 years and have witnessed at firsthand their wonderful work and the care that they provide for the patients and their families.

The Hospice relies on volunteers and donations to provide their services. So please, please donate as generously as you can. However small your contribution, it will make a difference!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
