So I think I have officially lost my mind. One of my work colleagues has managed to talk me into signing up for Edinburgh Marathon in May. Having not run in over 3 years, I have a massive mountain to climb if I am going to be able to get across the finish line, but I know that it will all be worth it in the end.

As part of the Festival of Architecture I will be 1 of 100 architects taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival events to raise funds for the Architects Benevolent Society. The Architects Benevolent Society is dedicated to helping past and presents members of the wider architectural profession, and their families, in times of need. They help people of all ages who have experienced illness, accident, redundancy, unemployment, bereavement or other difficulties. They aim to help them to recover lost ground and rebuild their lives through confidential advice, support and financial assistance. It is a great cause and all donations are greatly appreciated.
