Aviemore Half-Marathon · 18 October 2009

Speyside Trust based at Badaguish Cairngorm Outdoor Centre is a small independent charity helping children and adults with special needs, learning or multiple disability enjoy 24-hour respite care and outdoor holidays in the Cairngorms National Park.

Story

I am attempting my first half-marathon - the furthest I have ever tried to run! - in Aviemore, in aid of the Speyside Trust. This small, independent Scottish charity runs the Badaguish Centre which offers respite care and outdoor activity holidays for people with learning disabilities. They provide full 24hr respite care, offering an independent holiday with activities to suit their ability including canoeing, cycling, rock scrambling, archery, swimming, trampolining and loads more. £200 will pay for a person with profound disabilities to enjoy an outdoor holiday at Badaguish.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now!

Thank you! Christine xxx
