Following a few beers one balmy evening someone (Richard Bray) decided it would be a good idea to enter a team into the 2013 Tri-Ultimate Challenge.  The challenge was set and people were motivated (until the morning after). Only then did the realisation and fear set in.  By then it was too late to back out and so the Active Team was born.   Active by name - perhaps not so much by nature!
