<p>UPDATE!!</p> <p>I DID IT!&nbsp; Completed the challenge in 7hrs 45 mins - much faster than expected!&nbsp; Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and made much more enjoyable by all the lovely sponsors that have given so generously to my charity!</p> <p>THANK YOU! xxx</p> <p>Hi!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>On bank holiday weekend, while you are all,&nbsp;no&nbsp;doubt&nbsp;having fun at various BBQs or beer gardens, I will be walking the Cheviot Challenge which involves about 24 miles and 4000ft of climbing through the Cheviot hills in Northumberland.&nbsp;I have completed training walks in sweltering heat and torrential rain and both ways were&nbsp;flippin'&nbsp;tough, so please picture me suffering on a hillside in the name of charity and give generously!!&nbsp; I know that we are all counting our pennies at the moment so please give whatever you can - it doesn't matter how much or&nbsp;how little it may be.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>I am walking to raise money for the More than One charity which is the&nbsp;multiple birth charity&nbsp;at the&nbsp;Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.&nbsp;&nbsp;Funds raised go towards&nbsp;buying&nbsp;essential equipment and teaching materials needed in the safe delivery of multiple births.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We had our twins, Evie and Robin at the RVI in September 2008 and the support the we received from Sandra, our multiples midwife,was second to none.&nbsp; We were given so much fantastic advice and education on what to expect and how to cope with pregnancy,&nbsp;giving birth to and life with twins.&nbsp; Having twins (or more!) is risky.&nbsp; Chances of complications or premature births is high and life with multiples is tough.&nbsp; It is, of course,&nbsp;also wonderful but for the tough bits, the support that Sandra provides is invaluable.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>More than One is a&nbsp;fabulous charity and really&nbsp;made a difference to us&nbsp;so I urge you all to dig deep!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
