2018 was a massively challenging and upsetting year for me, Davey and our family as a result of me experiencing serious health problems that saw me hospitalised with a real fight on my hands.  I survived and as happens with this kind of thing it made us really stop and think.

As a result of this we’ve devoted 2019 to new personal challenges and experiences alongside funding and awareness raising for a number of causes, largely (and significantly for this purpose) done through running challenges.

And now the big one is here…the GNR!  I’ve always wanted to do it but never thought I could; 2018 taught me I can do anything and, again, Davey is right there (well very much ahead of me, haha) with me.

It went without saying that if we were going to do it, it had to be for a charity and we are thrilled to be running it to raise money for Barnardo’s, which is an amazing charity thatprotects, support and nurtures the UK’s most vulnerable children.
