Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 19th June I'll be whizzing towards the Titanic Quarter on a zip line suspended over the River Lagan - launching from the Big Fish at Lagan Weir at 5:15pm and landing in the TQ a few scary seconds later!

I'm doing it to raise money for Habitat For Humanity, a fantastic charity dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide, and specifically for Liz Fleming, a friend from Carryduff who travelled to India with Habitat in March to work on a building project.  Since the Titanic Quarter is all about making new homes, it seems like a good fit - Habitat is founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent and affordable place to live in dignity and safety.

If you'd like to sponsor me, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

And if you'd like to come along and see the plummet in action, it would be great to have you there for moral support!
