<p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>For Christmas I was given a place in the 2012 London Marathon, and will be running for Venture Partnership Foundations.&nbsp; I hadn't heard of this charity before being asked to run for them, but was immediately excited about their work.&nbsp;</p> <p>VPF are a charity which helps smaller, less well known charities grow and develop by providing grants and pro bono time from corporate mentors.&nbsp; Before offering support, VPF corporate and social advisors conduct thorough due diligence on charities to ensure that the greatest amount of money raised goes to good causes as possible.&nbsp;</p> <p>Once a charity receives financial support, this is accompanied by mentoring from VPF corporate supporters on a pro bono basis, and VPF staff.&nbsp; They also have the opportunity to engage in numerous networking opportunities.</p> <p>The great charities supported by VPF include the "Kids Company", "Teach First" and "PEAS" (Promoting Equality in African Schools) to name a few.
