How did I get roped into this? - it seemed like a good idea at the time! (amazing what you agree to after a couple of baby shams).

Anyway no going back now, totally committed to the cause (and its all for charity mate) Guild Care to be precise (a local Worthing based charity that provides innovative services for older people, careers and children with special needs).

As a virgin marathon runner training is the key to success, and my training has been slow and steady (with more emphasis on the slow), and even after being compared to Forest Gump, and asked if i've ever seen the film Run Fatboy Run, I still have the will and desire to finish what i've started (and finish I will, even if I cruel across that finish line).

So dig deep folks (it is 26 miles, yes 26 gruelling miles) and if you can't dig deep your old shrapnel will do (all donations appreciated).
