We did it! A bit scary standing at the top, but fantastic views and great coming down. Chris wasn't allowed to light his pipe but had it firmly clenched between his teeth for the benefit of those who increased their donations if he did!

We're more used to climbing towers to ring the bells but stepping off the top at 160 feet is a novel idea!
We're raising money for St John's Church reordering project - Enlightening God's Space - but part of that is keeping up our regular contributions to other charities including the DEC appeal for the Pakistani flood victims, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, Help the Heroes and CMS.
Neither of us has ever abseiled before but its a good way to celebrate Chris' 60th birthday a few days later!
