Story

Thankyou for visiting my JustGiving page.

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with Myeloma, a type of bone marrow cancer, last February and am receiving excellent treatment and care here in Bristol.

Unlike many of my contemporaries (you know who you are!) I still have a full head of hair, but not for long - the next stage of treatment will lead to a rather large reduction in hair follicles. Rather than let this opportunity go to waste I have decided to raise money for Myeloma UK through a sponsored head shave. This will take place in the next couple of weeks and I will post an 'after' photo to prove that the deed has been done!

Myeloma UKis a charity that provides information and support and also aims to improve treatment and care as well as increasing awareness of this cancer. They have been an invaluable source of help and advice to me and many other people unfortunate enough to be members of the Myeloma 'club'

I know that times are tough but please donate if you can

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
