We will be raising funds for Manchester United Foundation http://www.mufoundation.org/AboutTheFoundation.aspx. We are looking to raise £250.00 for the amzing work it does in the community.

Manchester United Foundation was formed to celebrate 50 years of the Club playing in Europe.  It aims to use the passion for Manchester United to educate, motivate and inspire young people to build a better life for themselves and improve the communities they live in.  The Foundation delivers football coaching, skills training, personal development and life changing experiences, providing young people with opportunities to change their lives for the better.  Through football, we encourage young people to develop as players and more importantly as people. 

I am currently trying to arrange an early morning race time so that will enable me to meet with Ian Scott at Blackburn Rovers FC who have generously donated their wonderful stadium to allow me and Ian to play in a team to to take part in  Fundraising Football. Each player in the team hopes to raise a minimum of £250 sponsorship towards their team’s total.

The aim is to provide each participant with a unique and once in a lifetime experience of playing football at a premiership ground whilst raising a significant sum of money for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity. http://www.justgiving.com/Fundraisingfootball-Switzerland
